Jai Opetaia will be defending his IBF cruiserweight title for the fourth time on Dec. 6, as he’s scheduled to face Huseyin Cinkara at Gold Coast Convention Centre in Broadbeach, Australia.
Both boxing stars are undefeated, but Opetaia heads into the title fight as the heavy betting favorite with -3330 boxing odds because of his championship experience. Meanwhile, the challenger will be the overwhelming underdog with +1200 odds.

Jai Opetaia vs. Huseyin Cinkara: Prediction
I predict a unanimous decision win for Opetaia, as he’s the quicker and younger fighter compared to Cinkara. He’s also a boxer who effectively uses his full reach length by fighting from range and gradually pressing his opponents against the ropes.
Once he pushes his opponents onto the ropes, Opetaia fires his combinations to the head and body, which often hurts them. Opetaia doubles down on his attack when he knows that his opposition is significantly compromised.
The best indication that this match is in Cinkara’s fighting style is that he prefers to counterpunch and uses his jab to keep his opponents at bay. This style won’t allow for an action-packed bout, but I believe Opetaia will land more significant punches to sway the judges and earn him the unanimous decision.
Jai Opetaia’s Recent Fight Results
Opetaia is a former amateur boxing standout and captured multiple minor boxing titles. In his last five fights, he defeated Ellis Zorro, Mairis Briedis, Jack Massey, David Nyika, and Claudio Squeo to capture the IBF belt and successfully defended it three times.
Huseyin Cinkara’s Recent Fight Results
Cinkara is an undefeated boxer who has won several minor boxing titles. He maintained his perfect record in his last five fights with wins over Al Sands, Vaclav Pejsar, Reinaldo Gonzalez, Armend Xhoxhaj, and Juan Diaz.
