The Made for Apple Watch Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Dock is a desktop charging system for your phone, watch and earbuds. Out of the box, it includes a 45W USB-C wall charger and a USB-C to USB-C cable. The cable is 1.5 metres long — or 59.0551″ if you’re not from around here 😅.
Being a dock, the 3-in-1 setup puts your phone front and centre on a Qi2 magnetic charging pad. Qi2 ensures perfect magnetic alignment between phone and charger, delivering faster, more efficient charging — up to 25W Fast Charge. Belkin’s testing shows 0–50% in about 25 minutes on an iPhone 16. I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro Max and it’s not much slower. For wireless charging, that’s impressive. I can’t test earbud charging as I don’t own AirPods; the Sony buds in the photos don’t support wireless charging and are just there to show placement. My Apple Watch Series 6 charges at roughly the same speed as Apple’s own charger: from flat/off to 98% in about the time it takes me to clean up after dinner and wrangle my 12-year-old into brushing his teeth and going to bed (a couple of hours).
Heat is the usual culprit that slows wireless charging, and Belkin tackles this with a built-in fan inside the phone charging head. It’s controlled by a small switch on the back. In my very non-scientific testing, the fan kicks in when you first place an iPhone that’s low on battery and begins fast charging. The noise level is minimal — my dock sits on my bedside table within arm’s reach and it’s barely audible. I don’t mind a bit of white noise, but my wife asked what the sound was, so I ended up switching it off. Something to keep in mind if you’re noise-sensitive at night.
The base has a lightly rubberised finish. It does attract dust (as you’ll see in the close-up photo), but overall the dock feels solid and sturdy. The base is heavy enough that it won’t tip easily when you’re fumbling in the dark. Speaking of fumbling: attaching the phone in the dark is surprisingly easy. Some magnetic stands are fiddly and require perfect placement; this one guides your phone into alignment really well.

In the photos you’ll see the intake vents on the back for the cooling system. Belkin calls this ChillBoost™, and they claim it keeps your device up to 12°F cooler, helping maintain fast charging speeds. It works well — but again, the faint whir might bother some people (apparently, those people include my wife).
As a minimalist bedside alarm-clock setup, the Belkin is a stylish, compact option that quickly charges all your devices. For me, it hits the sweet spot between form and function.
With Qi2 speed, multi-device convenience, and a clean aesthetic that pairs nicely with my iPhone 17 Pro Max’s always-on display, it makes an excellent bedside companion.
The UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Dock with Qi2 25W has a RRP A$219.95, but it’s few bucks off on Amazon at $202.90.
DRN would like to thank Belkin for providing the review unit.
