One of the last large brownfields in Bratislava has been awaiting its transformation for years. Today, a new phase is beginning for the area known as “Zváračák,” located on Račianska Street near the Bratislava’s city center.
The site, located in the Bratislava-Nové Mesto district, currently serves as an office and manufacturing complex. As a large brownfield site on an important urban axis, it has a significant potential to become a fully-fledged part of the compact urban environment.
That is why we are launching an international architectural competition, which will determine the future shape of this area.
