What it means
Melbourne’s push for a top-two finish remains on track, but it wasn’t easy. Parra gave them a lot to worry about over the 80 minutes. The Eels will be feeling as though they could have won that match. But, for coach Ryles, this match provides another great learning lesson. They need to win the crucial moments is probably the next stage of Parra’s development.

Game over – Storm win
The Eels gave it their all, but the Storm were able to keep them out. It was another strong showing by a much-improved Parra, but in the end it wasn’t enough. A crash play wasn’t what anyone was expecting. A brave option but one that proved unsuccessful. Storm beat Eels 16-10

Last chance saloon time for Eels
The clock is not the friend of Parra right now. There is only 90 seconds remaining and they have their last chance with the ball. Here they go. Storm lead 16-10 after 78 minutes

Papenhuyzen error gifts chance to Eels
Ryan Papenhuyzen just did all the hard work by leaping to collect a bomb. Then, in the pressure of the tackle, he dropped it. But, fear not Storm fans, their defence held firm we’re into the final five minutes. Storm lead 16-10 after 75 minutes

Air Xavier does it again
The two best high-kick fielding wingers in the NRL just went one-on-one and Xavier Coates took advantage of a run up to outleap Zac Lomax and score a try. Lomax came from a standing start. Everyone would find that difficult. Storm lead 16-10 after 71 minutes

Moses follows Munster
A few minutes after Cameron Munster was penalised for block a kick-chaser, his State of Origin adversary Mitchell Moses just did the same. Ryan Papenhuyzen misses the goal from out wide. Perhaps he was put off by Josh Addo-Carr’s dance moves in the in-goal area. 10-10 after 62 minutes

Munster caught out as Eels draw level
Cameron Munster thought he’d got away with one there. He blocked Dylan Walker as he was attempting to get to a kick. Penalty to Parra. The Storm then challenged the decision, and lost. Zac Lomax kicks his first goal of the night and scores are level for the third time (0-0, 4-4 and now). 10-10 after 57 minutes
