Brett Sniffin retires after leading Belton High for six seasons, including a 2023 district title and his 100th career win.

BELTON, Texas — Belton High School head football coach Brett Sniffin has retired after six seasons leading the Tigers, Belton ISD confirmed.

Sniffin guided Belton to a 5-6 record this season. The Tigers reached the playoffs but were eliminated in the first round with a 63-21 loss to Iowa Colony.

During his tenure, Sniffin achieved several milestones, including earning his 100th career coaching victory in 2023. That same year, he led Belton to its first outright district championship since 1998, a significant achievement for the program.

The Tigers will now begin a search for its next head football coach.
