Reece Walsh and Josh Addo-Carr’s managers have been slapped with huge fines and 12 month bans by the NRL.

Nash Dawson, Chris Orr, Mario Tartak and Matt Desira have all been sanctioned for breaches of the Accredited Agent Scheme Rules.

Walsh’s manager Dawson has been banned for nine months and fined $15,000, Addo Carr’s agent Tartak has been rubbed out for a year and will pay $25,000.

According to the NRL, it was alleged that “Mr Tartak communicated with an underage player without a parent and/or legal guardian being present. It was also alleged that Mr Tartak entered into a commercial arrangement with two NRL Clubs, in breach of the NRL Accredited Agent Scheme Rules.”

Walsh’s manager “breached the NRL Accredited Agent Scheme Rules and the Accredited Agents’ Code of Conduct following a physical altercation with agent Chris Orr following the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League Championships in 2024.”

It was also alleged Dawson failed to co-operate with the NRL Integrity Unit.

Desira and Orr have both been banned for six months and fined $10,000.
