V10 Entertainment made an official announcement about the launch of a free “America’s Funniest Home Videos” streaming channel today via Variety.

The channel is dedicated to classic episodes of the show, hosted by Bob Saget then Tom Bergeron in which amateur videographers submit videos of their kids, pets, friends and families in funny situations to earn thousands in prize money; the studio audience determine a winner by voting for the one they find most hilarious.

“America’s Funniest Home Videos is a slapstick television classic, which my buddy Bob Saget and I had the pleasure of hosting for a combined 23 years,” Bergeron said in a statement shared by Variety. “I’m pleased that the streaming audience can now laugh along with some of our earlier seasons, and I know Bob would be too.”

While Variety reports that the free channel will be coming to platforms including Prime Video, Peacock, Plex, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, VIZIO WatchFree+ and The Roku Channel early next year, we reported earlier this week that the America’s Funniest Home Video channel is already streaming on MyFree DIRECTV, DIRECTV’s free streaming service, available in the DIRECTV app.

America’s Funniest Home Videos premiered on ABC in 1989 and is now in its 36th season, hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro. You can watch new episodes on ABC with Hulu + LiveDIRECTVFubo, or YouTube TV.
