Among the NBA TV matchups, there is a meeting with the Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets, who just played an overtime contest on Monday, in the same building where they meet on Saturday. Nikola Jokic had a triple-double in that game as the Nuggets prevailed, 128-125.
The Detroit Pistons host the Charlotte Hornets for the first and only time this season as the top team in the conference faces one of the bottom dwellers for the first of three times this regular season.
And the national television action concludes with rivals who share a vity, but no longer the same stadium, as the Los Angeles Lakers visit the LA Clippers at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. The Lakers won when these teams met nearly a month ago, and are heavy favorites in this one even without Austin Reaves, Deandre Ayton and Rui Hachimura as they still have Luka Doncic and LeBron James going against a 6-21 Clippers squad that has lost five straight.
