BRONX – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2025-2026 season, Fordham’s 123rd season of basketball, on Monday, December 22, as they host the University of New haven Chargers in the historic Rose Hill Gym at 11:00 a.m.
 
The game will be broadcast live on SNY and streamed on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (PxP) and Andrew Posadas (analyst) announcing as well as broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV Sports YouTube page with Chris Carrino (PxP) and Tucker Austin (analyst) behind the mics.
 
Fordham enters the game with an 8-4 record after an 82-53 home win over Manhattan on December 13 while New Haven is 5-6 on the season following an 70-64 loss at NJIT on December 10.
 
Monday afternoon’s game will be the first meeting between the Rams and the Chargers on the hardwood.

Notes

• Junior forward Rikus Schulte is averaging 13.4 ppg and 10.0 rpg over the past eight games with five double-doubles during that time frame.

 

• Rikus is shooting .697 (46-66) over that stretch and .646 (62-96) on the season.

 

• Senior guard Christian Henry is averaging 18.8 ppg over the past five contests, including a career-high 29 points against UAlbany.

 

• Henry is also averaging 6.8 apg over the last five, including tying his career-high with nine helpers vs. Manhattan.

 

• Junior forward Akira Jacobs is averaging 9.0 rpg over the past two games, matching his career-high with ten boards vs. Manhattan.

 

• Redshirt freshman Abass Bodija is averaging 8.8 ppg over the past four contests.

 

• Grad student guard Dejour Reaves has scored in double figures in all eleven games he has appeared in.

 

• New Haven is in its first year in the NCAA Div. I after playing in the NCAA Div. II.

 

• Fordham is 54-14 all-time against teams currently in the Northeast Conference, including wins this year over Wagner, LIU, and FDU.

 

• The 2025-26 Fordham squad features nine new players including eight transfers.

 

• Of the eight transfers, three are grad transfers.

 

• Over the past four years, Fordham has compiled a 31-15 record in the Rose Hill Gym.

 

• The Rams are represented by three captains this year: grad guards Marcus Greene and Dejour Reaves, and junior forward Rikus Schulte.
