Hawthorn’s AFL Blind team are Grand Final bound again!
Hawthorn’s Victorian Blind Football League (VBFL) team are Grand Final bound for the second time in as many years, set to go head-to-head with St Kilda at Game On Indoor Sports Centre (Tullamarine) from 10.30am on Saturday.Â
The Hawks also reached the Grand Final in 2023 as ‘Hawthorn Brown’, so it is a fantastic achievement to reach the VBFL summit once again!Â

St Kilda (67) defeated by Hawthorn (93)Â
It was a seesawing contest in Round 7 of the VBFL.
The Hawks led at the first change before the Saints stormed back to lead at both half-time and three-quarter-time, with the latter lead stretching to 13 points with just one quarter remaining.Â
Hawthorn stood tall in the final term to run out as 26-point winners.Â
Lachlan Wallace top-scored with three majors while Captain Ned Brewer Maiga booted two goals on the day.
