Ivan Matlekovic, a 6-foot-11 transfer from High Point University, committed to UNC men’s basketball on Thursday night, according to On3.
As a first-year with the Panthers, Matlekovic averaged 2.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and shot 75 percent from the floor. The Croatian native featured in just five games for the Panthers and scored a season-high nine points against Carolina University in December.
The big man will add height to UNC’s front court, who also added Arizona transfer Henri Veesaar earlier in the offseason.
Matlekovic is the tenth new addition for head coach Hubert Davis for the 2025-26 season.
