Conor Garland and Marco Rossi will each be out for at least one week, Canucks head coach Adam Foote told reporters on Thursday.

Foote said that the injury to Garland was the result of a slew foot against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday. Rossi is out with a lower-body injury, Foote said.

Aatu Räty and Nils Höglander were practising in place of Garland and Rossi, where they slotted in on the fourth line with Liam Öhgren.

Räty and Höglander were both scratched against the Flyers as Jake DeBrusk and David Kämpf rejoined the Canucks’ lineup.

Garland is among Vancouver’s top scorers with 22 points (7 goals, 15 assists) in 33 games, while Rossi has 15 points in 25 games split between the Canucks and Minnesota Wild.

One of three players acquired in the Quinn Hughes trade along with Öhgren and Zeev Buium, Rossi had 13 points in 17 games with the Wild but has recorded only two points in eight games with the Canucks.

Vancouver is set to host the Boston Bruins in a Hockey Night in Canada matchup on Saturday. Catch the action at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
