After acquiring Lumos, T-Mobile Fiber has begun offering internet service in parts of Johnston County.
The move marks the official launch of T-Mobile Fiber Home Internet in Johnston, bringing new pricing plans and perks to local customers.
According to T-Mobile, existing Lumos customers can expect the same fast, reliable fiber service under the T-Mobile brand, but with added benefits. All plans include a five-year price guarantee, free installation and no contracts, data caps or equipment fees.
Customers also have access to T-Mobile Tuesdays, a program that offers weekly perks such as free subscriptions to MLB.TV and MLS Season Pass, along with dining deals. The program has delivered more than 1.2 billion rewards since its launch in 2016.
For a limited time, eligible residents can enroll in T-Mobile’s Fiber Founders Club and get the company’s 2-gigabit plan for $70 per month with autopay. This plan includes a 10-year price guarantee.
“With the official launch of T-Mobile Fiber, we’re delivering on our promise to bring better broadband to more people — the Un-carrier way,” said Allan Samson, T-Mobile’s chief broadband officer. “Our new plans, backed by long-term price guarantees, are designed to give customers more choice and peace of mind.”
