Aussie Aldi shoppers are calling for the supermarket to have an item stocked year-round after it scored rave reviews over Christmas. The Stuffed Turkey Breast Roast with Cranberry and Apple is only $9.99 for one kilogram of food.

It’s been available as part of Aldi’s limited-edition Christmas range and a spokesperson for the supermarket told Yahoo Lifestyle they won’t be stocked for long. You’ll need to get in quick if you want to get your hands on the meal.

“It’s great to have Aussies stocking up on Christmas favourites from Aldi this festive season,” they said.

“However our seasonal Christmas range is available for a limited time only.

“Once these products come to the end of their intended sale dates, they are removed from our register system and can no longer be purchased by customers.

“Any small amount of remaining stock is removed from shelves and donated to a local food rescue partner where appropriate.”

This will be devastating news to the fans who tried it over the festive season and were hoping it would become a permanent offering from Aldi.

“Had this for Christmas lunch and it did not disappoint yet again. Wish it was available ongoing as it is so yummy and so easy to cook,” wrote one shopper.

“I have seven in my freezer for the rest of the year,” added another.

“Always stock up on a few extra to put in the freezer for the rest of the year. Better than the other brands you get from the two major supermarkets,” said a third.

Aldi calls the meal a “sweet and savoury Christmas classic”, and the packet comes with a boneless turkey breast filled with a cranberry and apple stuffing.

The packet says it serves seven people and each serving contains more than 25 grams of protein.

You can find it in the frozen section of Aldi supermarkets.

If you’re not a fan of cranberry and apple, Aldi also has an identical stuffed turkey roast that comes with onion and sage that’s also $9.99.

If you prefer your turkeys fresh instead of frozen, Aldi still has its Christmas turkey from $8.99 per kilogram.

The supermarket also has a Fresh Turkey Breast Roast with Festive Apple and Orange Stuffing for $24.99 per kilogram.

Aldi said it takes around one-and-a-half to two hours to get that ready in the oven.
