After two years with the team, Tegan Cruz is splitting with Kenda NS Bikes UR Team.

Along with World Cup racing, the Pemberton, B.C. racer was the runner up in 2025 King of Crankworx competition. He ended the 2025 season with a win at the inaugural Hard MTB League, a new competition that is the brain child of Braydon Bringhurs in Boise, Idaho.

Closer to home, Cruz landed wins at the Canada Cup at SilverStar (also a UCI Continental event), NW Cup in Idaho, and Whistler’s B.C. Cup. Cruz joined UR in 2024. That came after a strong year of junior racing and a 2022 season were he won the junior Canadian national downhill championships. The year before, he was the U17 downhill national champ.

It sounds like the Pemberton shredder already has plans for 2026. We’re stoked to see who Cruz will be racing with when the season starts.
