ERIE, Pa. — Penn State Behrend’s basketball teams continued their seasons through the winter semester break. The women’s team was 2-1, with wins over Hiram and Bluffton. The men’s team was 1-2, with a win over Hiram.

Men’s basketball
Penn State Behrend 72, Hiram 62
Brockport 61, Penn State Behrend 60
Buffalo 92, Penn State Behrend 63
Jacob Dunkle, a freshman from Washington, scored a season-best 26 points against Hiram. He also grabbed seven rebounds. Mason Blankenberg, a senior from Ontario, New York, scored 15 points and had three steals.
Women’s basketball
Baldwin Wallace 69, Penn State Behrend 58
Penn State Behrend 80, Hiram 71
Penn State Behrend 60, Bluffton 51
Morgan Altavilla, a senior from Pittsburgh, scored 20 points against Hiram. Alaina Fabin, a sophomore from Indiana, scored a team-best 18 points against Bluffton.
The teams host Pitt-Greensburg on Jan. 7 and Mt. Aloysius on Jan. 10.
