Jelly Roll was stumped when he was confronted by his daughter’s friends about his face tattoos.
The 41-year-old revealed in a recent interview with Taste of Country that his daughter Bailee’s friends would always question his appearance.
“When she was in kindergarten it was so funny because all of her little friends would go, ‘What is all that stuff on your face?’ the country singer told the outlet.

“I would go, ‘You won’t believe this, I only draw this on when I come see y’all so y’all are excited about it.'”
However, they eventually caught on.
“Finally, they were like, ‘How do you draw it on the same way every time?’ I said, ‘I got the little sticker things now because I been coming so much’,” the Wild Ones singer recalled.
The rapper shared that as his daughter, now 17, and her friends grew up, many of the friends’ parents wouldn’t allow them to hang out at their house due to his tattoos and the lifestyle they associated with it.

The artist has previously spoken about his many tattoos, admitting in 2024 that he regrets getting “almost all” of them.
“Like core philosophies are rooted in my life when I was 17 and now I’m 40, I’m like, ‘What the f— was I thinking?’ ” the singer told GQ.
“I hate them all.”

He told the outlet about how his tattoo journey began at age 14 when he got a simple cross on his right arm.
Since then, he began getting both his face and body tattooed, with some of them received while he spent time in prison.

In addition to Bailey, the singer is also father to son Noah, seven. Both of his children are a result of separate past relationships, and he parents them with the help of his wife, Bunnie XO.
