SCOTT McLaughlin will kickstart his 2026 racing season with a return to the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Having last year competed in the prestigious event alongside Shane van Gisbergen for Trackhouse by TF Sport, McLaughlin will be in another Corvette Z06 GT3.R in the GTD class – this time with DXDT Racing.
The American squad, who fielded Robert Wickens in various 2025 races, will place McLaughlin alongside Mason Filippi, Charlie Eastwood and Salih Yoluc.
“It’s an honour to join DXDT Racing for Daytona,” said McLaughlin, who at one stage appeared a chance to represent Porsche Penske Motorsport in the outright GTP class.
“The Corvette Z06 GT3.R is an impressive machine, and working alongside Charlie, Salih and Mason gives us a really strong package heading into one of the world’s most demanding races.”
Team owner David Askew said McLaughlin adds “world-class depth” to what is “one of the strongest and most balanced combinations in DXDT Racing’s history”.
The 24-hour Florida race will unfold across January 24-25.
Beyond that, McLaughlin will turn his attention to his sixth IndyCar campaign with Team Penske.
