Former McLaren junior driver Alex Dunne has explained that his unexpected exit from the Woking-based outfit was “100%” his decision.
It was announced at the start of last October that the Irishman had left McLaren’s driver development programme, ending his association with the papaya squad.

Former Alpine executive director Marcin Budkowski has backed Oscar Piastri to start “looking elsewhere” should in-team fighting continue at McLaren this year.
Piastri lost out to McLaren team-mate Lando Norris in the drivers’ title last season, despite having held a 34-point advantage after the Dutch Grand Prix.

Having spent several years in partnership with Red Bull, Honda officially departed the F1 grid at the end of the 2021 season following Max Verstappen’s maiden title triumph.

Lewis Hamilton handed unwanted verdict on eighth F1 drivers’ title chances
A large portion of Formula 1 fans do not believe Lewis Hamilton will ever claim an unprecedented eighth drivers’ title and will retire as a seven-time champion.
According to a recent RacingNews365 poll, 57.1% believe the Ferrari driver will retire with his current tally of seven titles.
