Police will travel to New South Wales to question a man after the death of a 46-year-old woman south of Brisbane.
Officers conducting a welfare check at a home on Waterford Tamborine Road in the Logan suburb of Buccan found the woman’s body at about 3:15am on Monday morning.
Police said she had “sustained injuries”, but there was no-one else present at the property.
Police said the woman was believed to be the carer of a 36-year-old man who was located over the border in Kempsey on Monday.
Homicide police are investigating.

Acting Detective Inspector Justin  Anderson said initial investigations had led them to believe the deceased woman was the man’s carer.
“My team of detectives are trying to determine the exact relationship through her employment at this stage,” he said.
The 46-year-old woman was reported missing from Ashgrove at about 1am on Monday morning by family members.

Mr Anderson said the woman was last seen at around 7pm on Saturday after dropping a relative off at a house in The Gap.
The SES is assisting in a search of the five-acre property and investigations are continuing.
