Yungblud is on an absolute tear and it seems like he’s not slowing down anytime soon. The UK rockstar joined Abby and Tyrone for an hour of co-hosting Drive, where he revealed plans for his next album and bringing BLUDFEST to Australia in the near future.

After two hugely successful years in Milton Keynes, Yungblud is officially eyeing an international expansion of his festival. Considering the fans have been showing up and selling out his current tour of Australia – surprising him because it’s been three years – it’s no surprise Yungblud wants to bring the festival down under.

“My goal is to bring BLUDFEST to Australia in 2027,” he said.

“I think it’s been such an amazing ride with BLUDFEST. It’s almost a ‘build it and they will come’ moment. I noticed a lot of people are kind of really pissed off with the amount of money they’re being charged for festivals and concerts, especially in Australia.

“So I can confirm my next ventures for BLUDFEST are the States, Japan and Australia.”

Yungblud already has the first half of his year mapped out already, too. He told Abby and Tyrone that he’ll be spending a break in his world tour by getting back in the studio to “knock another record out”.

“We’ve got India after this, which is mad,” he said.

“And then we’ve got the Grammys, and then, to be honest, I’m in L.A. for two months before the tour.

“It’s definitely going to be very rock-rooted. I’ve been listening to Jeff Buckley, Stone Temple Pilots. But also I’ve been bumping a lot of INXS and a lot of Rolling Stones.”

So how is this next record going to sound after the monster of IDOLS? Yungblud is thinking short, sharp and super slick.

“IDOLS was so maximalist and deep, it was vert about shedding skin and going really deep to kind of figure out who I am,” he said.

“I think this next one’s going to be short and fun.”

So strap in, 2026 is set to be a big year from Yungblud!
