Country music is big business, and there are a handful of singers who have been in that business and doing quite well for decades.
That can mean big-time bucks, but it turns out the richest singer in country music is pretty new to the scene.
That singer? Beyoncé.
For the folks who missed it, the Cowboy Carter artist recently made it into elite company as one of only five musicians in the world to amass a net worth of $1 billion or more, according to Forbes.
She sits right at $1 billion while her husband, Jay-X, sits atop the list with $2.53 billion.
Rihanna, with an estimated fortune of $1.03 billion, Bruce Springsteen ($1.17 billion), and Taylor Swift ($2.1 billion) round out that list of five.
As for the richest artists in country music, Dolly Parton is right behind Beyoncé with an estimated fortune of $650 million followed by Garth Brooks ($400 million) and Shania Twain ($350-410 million).
Beyoncé has several business interests that have helped boost her wealth including a hair care brand, a whiskey label, and a clothing line, but Forbes noted that her musical career remains red-hot and is the main source of her fortune.
The outlet reported that Beyoncé’s recent Cowboy Carter Tour had more than $400 million in gross ticket sales and sold an estimated $50 million in merchandise.
Her cut from everything in 2025, per Forbes, was an estimated $125 million. The outlet said that made her the third-highest paid musician in the world for the year.
Meanwhile, Parade highlighted Parton’s fortune in 2025, noting that it’s not just her legendary hits like “Jolene,” that have paid off for her. She has had a successful acting career and she has multiple successful books and product lines on the business side that have allowed her to amass her wealth.
