It’s Rs. 875 crores for Dhurandhar. As expected, the film jumped quite well as from Rs. 2.10 crores on Friday, it has moved on to Rs. 3.60 crores on Saturday. That’s excellent and the collections are, in fact, more than the combined total of all other Bollywood films in the running. The film is in its seventh week and is still setting records on a daily basis, so much so that now it’s also set for the biggest 7th Sunday of all times.

Currently standing at Rs. 875.50 crores, it will come quite close to Rs. 880 crores today. It could well have been assured of that, in fact, but then there is India vs New Zealand ODI today and that will divert audience attention to some extent. The film is seeing the biggest showcasing also currently as exhibitors are trusting the film to deliver well, and that means that even when Border 2 releases this Friday, the second highest number of shows will go to Dhurandhar.
The Aditya Dhar film will be aiming to make the most of the Republic Day weekend ahead and that’s what would give it an impetus for the 900 Crore Club creation. It would be still some time before the Ranveer Singh led ensemble affair goes below daily collections of Rs. 1 crore as there is still quite some steam left in it. Huge benchmarks have been set by the film and one waits to see the kind of mayhem it creates in the OTT space once it arrives there towards the end of month.
All Time Mega Blockbuster
