The Dolphins are keeping a cornerstone piece on defense for the foreseeable future.

Miami and defensive tackle Zach Sieler have agreed to a three-year, $64 million extension, including $44 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Sunday, per sources.

Sieler joined the Dolphins in 2019 off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens. During his seven seasons in Miami, Sieler has developed into a full-time starter the last two seasons. Last season, he recorded 55 tackles, 10 sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble. It was the second-straight season Sieler recorded double-digit sack mark in his career.

In 2023, Sieler signed a three-year contract extension worth up to $38.65 million.
