The Institute of Hospitality Golf Day is always a great day out, set within one of the industry’s most iconic venues, The Belfry. Taking place on Thursday 14 May 2026, the event brings together golfers and non-golfers alike at the only golf resort in the world to have hosted four Ryder Cups.

The day begins with everyone gathering in The Wishaw Suite for bacon butties, tea and coffee, before a short briefing from The Belfry’s golf professionals sends teams out onto the course.
Friendly competition runs throughout the day with Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive, and the ever-popular Beat the Pro.
Later in the afternoon, before dinner, the much-loved Longest Putt takes centre stage, giving non-golfers the perfect chance to attempt to outshine the golfers. After its success last year, the longest putt will open earlier in 2026, giving everyone plenty of chances to have a go.
The evening dinner is a highlight of the day, with Executive Chef Robert Bates and his brigade delivering a three-course menu that showcases The Belfry at its best. The night concludes with a prize draw and charity auction in aid of the Institute of Hospitality Youth Council, Institute of Hospitality Midlands, and The Crumbs Project, all dedicated to helping young people enter and thrive within hospitality.
Two major auction prizes have already been confirmed thanks to the generosity of Bespoke Hotels, with more to be announced.
