After the NBA announced that Doncic had been voted to his sixth All-Star selection, he expressed his gratitude on Instagram. The Lakers star posted fan art and fan edits to show his appreciation to his loyal fans.
“My 6th All-Star. What an honor. I wanted to share my 6 favorite pieces of fan art this season. Thank you for voting and creating ” Doncic posted.
Because he didn’t play much for the Dallas Mavericks last season, he wasn’t selected as an All-Star. Doncic appeared in only 22 games for the Mavericks due to a calf strain. The European star averaged 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists during that stretch. Even with that, he didn’t get enough votes from fans to be an All-Star starter. The star also missed a chance to be a reserve.
It’s different this year as he’s back in the All-Star Game, which will take place in Los Angeles. Fans will see him put on a show on February 15 at the Intuit Dome.
