Well, it’s official: the winner of Dancing with the Stars 2025 is Kyle Shilling!
“We’ve built such a strong family here, the beautiful people behind us,” the Home & Away star said when he won.
“And… to be able to stand here and know that all the hard work that we’ve put in is all paid off.”
During the Grand Finale, the six remaining contestants – Kyle, Felicity Ward, Michael Usher, Trent Cotchin, Brittany Hockley, and Shaun Micallef – all performed a freestyle.
Kyle and his partner Lily Cornish opted for an emotional, moving freestyle to Native Tongue by Mo’Ju – and earned a perfect score of 40 from the judges.

“One word. Three syllables. Fabulous,” Craig Revel Horwood said of the performance.
“I really loved the way you honoured your culture; it was just so beautiful. One of the best performances – I’ve been on this show since the very, very beginning – one of the best performances I’ve ever seen that touched me like that, so thank you,” Helen Richey said.
After everyone performed, the judges’ scores were added with the studio audience votes.
Kyle and Shaun were announced as the top two while Felicity, Michael, Trent and Brittany were eliminated.

We think it was a well deserved win; Kyle constantly topped the leaderboard throughout this season of Dancing with the Stars.
In fact, the Grand Finale wasn’t the first time he received a perfect score from the judges.
In Episode 6, he and Lily earned a 40 for their jive.
Importantly, Kyle didn’t just win the mirrorball trophy, he also won $10,000 for his chosen charity: the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
