BROC Feeney has promised to drive angrier than ever in 2026, spurred on by his title heartache last year.
Feeney was utterly dominant throughout season 2025 but fell short of a maiden crown on a controversial Sunday at the Adelaide Grand Final that included a clash between he and Ryan Wood (the teammate of eventual champion Chaz Mostert).
Wood was deemed at fault by the stewards, but Feeney initially steered clear of commenting on the matter.
Not anymore.
“There’s a bit of bad blood in the water, that’s for sure,” he told 7News Brisbane.
That revelation came as the Triple Eight driver admitted he has not moved on from the title loss.
“No. How can I?” he said.
“I mean, I put my whole life into what I do… I leave everything out there.
“I try not to get to the end of the year and have any regrets and I don’t from last year. I have got no regrets. I did everything I could, I think I showed that with my results last year.
“So for me, I’m going to go out and do the same thing, try to dominate another season of Supercars and hopefully this time I can actually take home the real trophy.”
Having taken extra time to reset over the summer, Feeney is ready to rumble in his new #88 Red Bull Ampol Mustang.
“I’m ready to go to Round 1. I think I’ll be as ready, probably more driven, angrier than ever and I look forward to it,” he said.
Sydney Motorsport Park will host the season-opener across February 20-22.
