There’s an age-old axiom that there’s no such thing as bad PR. If you’re trying to get some attention, it’s all about keeping your name popping up day after day. We live in a world of search engine optimisation (SEO), and if we’re talking three letters, it only makes sense to bring up LIV Golf.
“Everybody’s Favourite Golf League” will return this week, and the league’s social media team went all out with this funny/slightly insane bit. “Who’s pumped for the 2026 LIV Golf League season?” it asks. Apparently, a bunch of PGA Tour pros. Kinda. Check it out.

We can’t say we expected a LIV teaser featuring Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jack Nicklaus, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and other PGA Tour pros/legends. But someone behind the scenes wanted to poke some fun at the rivalry, and we salute the ballsy decision.
Like any out-there promotion, the reactions are mixed, with some calling it embarrassing. “When you definitely know you’ve lost, you start posting stuff like this,” writes one golf fan. “LongLIVGolf,” says another. Some even asked about the legality of the clip. That wouldn’t be the first lawsuit centred on LIV Golf.
No matter how you view the teaser, it’s worked to some extent. After all, it did get a full write-up on Golf Digest.
