BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Drexel men’s basketball team will kick off a two-game road trip Thursday to face the Campbell Camels. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker’s Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men’s Basketball.
 
LAST TIME OUT
A last-second buzzer beater from Kevon Vanderhorst gave the Drexel men’s basketball team a 61-60 win over the North Carolina A&T Aggies on Saturday to conclude its three-game homestand. Shane Blakeney led the team with 19 points. Blakeney finished the night by tying a career high of nine rebounds along with two assists. Eli Beard had 12 points while pulling in two rebounds and three assists. Vanderhorst had five assists and a steal. The Dragons outrebounded the Aggies 36-31 while making the most of second-chance opportunities, outscoring NC A&T 12-6 in second-chance points.
 
ABOUT CAMPBELL

The Camels are 10-13 (4-6 in conference play) after defeating William & Mary on Saturday. They are led by first-year head coach John Andrzejek. Graduate student DJ Smith leads the team with 21.1 points per game.
 
THE SERIES
This is the third time that the two teams have played, with the series currently tied at 1-1. The Camels won last season’s matchup.
