The Boston Celtics didn’t make any major moves Thursday, but they were plenty busy.

After acquiring big man Nikola Vucevic and a second-round pick from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for guard Anfernee Simons and a second-round pick on Tuesday, the Celtics made a trio of minor deals ahead of the 3 p.m. ET NBA trade deadline, sending Chris Boucher to the Utah Jazz, Josh Minott to the Brooklyn Nets and Xavier Tillman to the Charlotte Hornets.

In the aftermath, the Celtics are now under the NBA’s luxury tax and have an open roster spot they potentially could use to sign a player on the buyout market.
