Two people have been charged over the alleged domestic violence murder of a woman on the NSW Southern Tablelands.
The arrests came after the body of a 48-year-old woman was found with multiple stab wounds at a home in Goulburn more than a month ago.
Police were called to the address on Joshua Street on January 3 after a welfare concern was reported.

On Thursday, police arrived at a home in Goulburn and arrested a 40-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man.
Both were charged with one count of murder relating to domestic violence and were refused bail to appear in Bail Division Local Court on Friday.
Superintendent Joe Doueihi said police were still investigating the motive behind the alleged murder but the victim had been in a relationship with the accused woman for “several years” before it ended in May last year.
“That female offender had commenced a relationship with the male offender who lives next door,” Mr Doueihi said.
“We were quite confident from the onset that it was likely the victim’s former partner who was involved in this matter.
“Domestic violence is not limited to male-female relationship, as we know in this instance.”

Days to find body
Superintendent Doueihi said the pair were living next door to the victim’s home and were known to police, with the male having a history of domestic violence offences.
“Police attended that location as a result of a concern for welfare from an associate of the deceased who had an appointment with her and failed to turn up,” he said.
“We established that the 48-year-old woman was actually murdered on the 30th of December but her body wasn’t located until the 3rd of January.”
Police are seeking any information relating to the movements of the accused couple, who they believed visited Lake Burrinjuck near Yass between December 31 and January 3.
Superintendent Doueihi said police believed they were driving a light blue Toyota Camry with the registration CJ49XV while towing a small white fishing boat.
