LIV Golf Adelaide is raising the stakes for 2026, bringing The Ripper House directly onto the course in a bold move that positions fans closer to the action than ever before.
Anchored between the 13th green and 14th tee, The Ripper Point and The Ripper House will transform this stretch of the course into The Ripper Hole, a gathering place where Ripper fans of all backgrounds come together to support the home team.
The shift marks a significant evolution from 2025, when The Ripper House operated as an off-site invite-only destination. For 2026, the luxury hospitality space will sit above The Ripper Point, combining premium food and beverage, live music and entertainment under one roof.
“Bringing The Ripper House on-course takes the fan experience to another level,” shares Nick Adams, General Manager of Ripper GC. “Ripper GC isn’t just a golf team, it represents a lifestyle shift in how fans connect with sport, culture and the Ripper brand.”
The Ripper Point returns to the iconic 14th tee as the go-to gathering spot for fans of Ripper GC. The atmosphere will intensify in 2026 with Trackman bringing live shot data and real-time insights into the middle of one of the loudest viewing points on the course.
Ripper GC and Trackman are also launching Rippers vs The World, a global closest-to-the-pin challenge starting 6 February that lets fans take on the pros virtually on the 12th hole at The Grange Golf Club.
The newest addition to Ripper GC is 23-year-old Elvis Smylie, who will also step into a Creative Director role for the club.
“I’m excited to bring fresh energy to Ripper Golf Club,” said Smylie. “What we’re building in Adelaide is more than a tournament, it’s a moment right at the epicentre of the Australian sports calendar, where fandom is at an all-time high. I’m excited for this opportunity as a new member of the team; We’re all excited to show the world what Aussie golf is all about.”
The interactive on-course experience sets a new benchmark for how audiences engage with the sport at Australia’s most popular golf tournament, redefining the global standard for sporting hospitality while delivering a true 360° fan experience.
Within The Ripper Hole experience, fans can step into a golf simulator challenge and visit Ripper GC’s only on-site merchandise store, adding interactive moments that round out the full 360° fan journey.
World-class music acts including Peking Duk, Royel Otis, John Summit and FISHER carry the energy into the night, continuing LIV Golf Adelaide’s signature blend of sport and cultural festival.
“Ripper GC isn’t just a golf team, it’s a reflection of how fans from all walks of life across Australia can come together through golf to support their home team,” said Adams. “Whether you’re an avid golf fan or simply sport-adjacent, this environment brings everyone into the full Ripper experience, built on camaraderie, mateship, and a genuine love of the game.”
LIV Golf Adelaide continues to blur the line between sporting event and cultural festival. In 2025, LIV Golf Adelaide welcomed a record-breaking 102,483 attendees across three days, a nine per cent increase on the previous year, reinforcing its status as one of the most popular stops on the global LIV Golf circuit.
