LIVE: Finals day is here at the Perth SVNS in what shapes as a massive day for the Australian teams in Perth.
The men and women’s teams are coming off a perfect opening day, sweeping through all six games to top their respective pools.

The women will kick off the action for the hosts, facing the USA (12:35 pm AWST) in the semi-finals as they look to defend their title from last year.
This is followed by the men, who take on South Africa (1:19 pm) in their quest to make it three straight Perth Finals.
Following this, the champions will be crowned, culminating a massive weekend on the SVNS World Series.

11:12 am – Spain v Great Britain
Moving onto the men as Spain take on Great Britain, yesterday’s big surprise packets.
10:52 am – Canada hold tough for Fiji win
Canada will play Japan for fifth after a tense 26-19 win over Fiji.
The Fijians kept fighting throughout the game, with a late try to Mariana Talatoka setting up a grandstand finish.
However, the class of Olivia Apps shone through, racing away in the final seconds for the victory
10:30 am – Japan coast past Great Britain
Starting with the women’s fifth-place semi-final, as Japan took care of Great Britain 29-7.
Chiaki Saegusa did the damage early, scoring the first two tries of the match as the Japanese steadied following a tough day one.
They were never troubled as tries to Minako Taniyama and Michiyo Suda helped seal the win
