The TPIL Lawyers QFAW Division 1 fixture has been released, with the competition set to take on a new look this season. Eight teams will vie for the 2026 premiership, with four new clubs joining the hunt.
The season will formally commence on a blockbuster ANZAC Round on April 25th, with clubs playing 16 matches over 18 weeks of competition. The finals will again feature a Top four series across three weeks, with the Grand Final to be held on September 12th.
Burleigh, Mt Gravatt and Redland Victoria Point have all been promoted from the TPIL Lawyers QFAW Division 2 competition this year.
Mt Gravatt make the leap off the back of a TPIL Lawyers QFA Division 2 Central premiership in 2026, whilst Burleigh and Redland Victoria Point have been elevated after building strong, sustainable and competition women’s environments over a number of years.
Yeronga will be looking to re-ignite their women’s program as they join the Division 1 competition this season, stepping back from the QAFLW this season.

Sherwood and Redland Victoria Point will officially kick the season off with a stand alone fixture on April 11th, in a double header with their QAFL sides at Powenyenna Oval, celebrating the installation of new lights at venue.
2025 Premiers Broadbeach were elevated to the Bond University QAFLW, paving the way for a new premier in 2026, whilst Noosa have returned to the TPIL Lawyers QFAW Division 2 North competition.Â
