Warriors: Maori All Stars Charnze Nicholl-Klokstad, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Jacob Laban will back up following last week’s All Stars match, however James Fisher-Harris (rested) and Te Maire Martin (ankle) will sit out Friday’s pre-season game. Martin is sidelined for 12 weeks after breaking his right fibula while Indigenous All Stars winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira is unavailable as he follows concussion protocols after a head knock in Sunday’s game. Tanah Boyd and Luke Hanson will link up in the halves for the second-straight week, while Demitric Vaimauga will miss the match after starting at prop in last Saturday’s loss to Manly. Tanner Stowers-Smith will start in his place, with Laban’s inclusion in the back row the only other change to the starting pack.
Dolphins: Selwyn Cobbo has shifted to the wing as Dolphins coach Kristian Woolf provides an early look at what his Round 1 backline could look like. Trai Fuller will start at fullback, with Jake Averillo and Herbie Farnworth in the centres. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow’s position is the final piece of the jigsaw puzzle, but he will miss Friday’s trial. Kodi Nikorima is back at five-eighth, with Brad Schneider shifting to hooker after wearing the No.6 jumper last week. Tom Flegler will come off the bench after making a successful return to the field against the Titans, with Schneider’s move to dummy half the only change to the starting forward pack.

Wests Tigers: The Wests Tigers new-look halves combination of Jarome Luai and Adam Doueihi will lead the side around Leichhardt Oval on Friday night, with Heamasi Makasini shifting to the wing after scoring a hat-trick in last week’s win over the Roosters. Off-season recruit Kai Pearce-Paul was a late withdrawal due to calf tightness while Kit Laulilii was also ruled out as he goes through HIA protocols. Bunty Afoa is also set for his first match in Tigers colours and will start at prop. Terrell May remains sidelined but brother Taylan May has been named in the centres. Faaletino Tavana has been selected on the extended bench after scoring an early contended for try of the year at McDonald Jones Stadium last Saturday.Â
Panthers: The Panthers’ big names are back on deck with coach Nathan Cleary to roll out a host of stars on Friday night. Nathan Cleary will link up with Blaize Talagi in the halves, Dylan Edwards and Brian To’o also stepping into a full-strength backline. Moses Leota, Mitch Kenny and Isaah Yeo will start in the forward pack however Liam Martin remains in cotton wool and will sit out Penrith’s final pre-season game. Freddy Lussick will play his first game for the Panthers in jumper No.14 and young five-eighth Keahn Skipps is listed in an extended bench after impressing in the No.6 jumper last week.

Sharks: A serious hit-out for the Sharks ahead of a Round 1 clash with the Titans as they welcome back big guns Nicho Hynes, Braydon Trindall, Jesse Ramien and Briton Nikora from All Stars duty while Addin Fonua-Blake, Will Kennedy, KL Iro, Sione Katoa and Blayke Brailey are on board for their first game of 2026. Forwards Toby Rudolf, Braden Uele, Tom Hazelton, Siosifa Talakai and Billy Burns will get more miles in the legs after having a run against the Eels last Sunday.
Raiders: Daine Laurie’s versatility will again be on display as he shifts to fullback on Saturday afternoon in a rejigged Raiders side. Savelio Tamale and Xavier Savage start on the wing, while Simi Sasagi and Seb Kris line up in the centres. Up front, hooker Jayden Brailey will play his first game as a Raider with Zac Hosking and Matty Nicholson to co-captain the side. Ata Mariota and Morgan Smithies round out a physical forward pack. Coach Ricky Stuart will inject the next gen off the bench with Chevy Stewart and Owen Pattie headlining an extended squad filled with future stars.

Roosters: After a year’s worth of hype and expectation Roosters fans get their first look at Daly Cherry-Evans in the red, white and blue as he teams up with Sam Walker at the scrumbase. DCE has been named in 6 and Walker in 7 and there will be plenty of interest in how they line up and what roles they play. Skipper James Tedesco, winger Mark Nawaqanitawase, props Naufahu Whyte, Lindsay Collins and Spencer Leniu and back-rower Angus Crichton all step out for the first time in 2026. Hooker Reece Robson had been named to make his club debut but a broken thumb suffered in training will sideline him for 6-8 weeks. All Stars reps Connor Watson and Blake Steep are back on deck while former Dragon Cody Ramsey looks to resurrect his NRL career after a battle with ulcerative colitis that sidelined him for 896 days before he made a remarkable return to the field in 2025 to captain the Dragons’ NSW Cup side to a grand final appearance.
Eels: The Mitch Moses-Jonah Pezet show rolls into Gosford on Saturday night as Parra fans dare to dream big in 2026. Josh Add-Carr comes in on the wing after representing the Indigenous All Stars last weekend while J’maine Hopgood, Junior Paulo, Jack de Belin, Jack Williams and Dylan Walker step out for the first time this season. Former Titan Brian Kelly has been named on the extended bench along with Joash Papalii, who played five-eighth last week, while the likes of Jordan Samrani, Teancum Brown and Lorenzo Talataina get another chance to impress after strong showings against the Sharks.Â

Storm: Cameron Munster and Tyran Wishart team up in the halves with Jahrome Hughes biding his time until Round 1 after undergoing shoulder surgery at the end of an arduous 2025 campaign. Sua Faalogo gets his crack in the No.1 jersey with Moses Leo on the wing and Hugo Peel on the extended bench. Nine members of the grand final side will line up against the Titans including the entire front row of Stefano Utoikamanu, Harry Grant and Josh King and outside backs Nick Meaney and Will Warbrick. New recruits Davvy Moale and Trent Toelau have been named on the interchange alongside Trent Loiero and Cooper Clarke.Â
Titans: Jayden Campbell, Keano Kini, Jojo Fifita and Josh Patston return from All Stars duty to bolster a Titans squad that also includes AJ Brimson at five-eighth, skipper Tino Fa’asuamaleaui at prop, Beau Fermor in the back row and Sam Verrills at hooker. Playmakers Lachlan Ilias and Zane Harrison showed some quality touches in last week’s win over the Dolphins but will come from the extended bench after making way for Brimson and Campbell. New recruit Oliver Pascoe has entered the NRL concussion protocols after suffering a head knock playing for the Indigenous All Stars last Sunday.

Rabbitohs: Time for Wayne Bennett to roll out the big guns with a full-strength 17 named for the trip to Mudgee. Superstars Latrell Mitchell, Cody Walker, Alex Johnston, Keaon Koloamatangi and Cameron Murray have all been named while centre Campbell Graham returns from back surgery. David Fifita starts in the back row in his first game for the club while former Storm man Bronson Garlick comes from the bench. Jack Wighton and Tallis Duncan return from Indigenous All Stars duty. After playing a starring role at fullback last week Matt Dufty is part of the extended squad and will get another chance to impress.
Sea Eagles: Jamal Fogarty takes charge for the first time in Manly colours and will partner Luke Brooks in the halves with young gun Joey Walsh coming from the bench. Prop Taniela Paseka will play his first game rupturing his Achilles in Round 3 last year and is joined in the engine room by Siosiua Taukeiaho who will captain the side. Nathan Brown is back from a ruptured biceps and lines up at lock while Corey Waddell and Hugo Hart are the second-rowers after both played strongly against the Warriors. Tom and Jake Trbojevic will be kept in cotton wool for the Round 1 clash against the Raiders on March 7.
