Dana White has given his thoughts on Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano being booked for a Netflix show as opposed to the UFC.

As we know, later this year we will see Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano make their respective returns to mixed martial arts competition. They will collide on Netflix in association with Most Valuable Promotions, although many expected that if Ronda did wind up returning to the sport, it would likely be with the UFC. Dana White has been asked several times in recent months about a possible return for Ronda Rousey. ‘Rowdy’ was once the biggest star in all of MMA, but after losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, she made the decision to move on to pastures new in the world of professional wrestling.

In his post-fight press conference appearance following UFC Houston, Dana White had the following to say about Rousey vs Carano.

White discusses Rousey vs Carano

“Her and I have been talking about this since last year,” White said about Rousey at the post-fight press conference. “It just didn’t work out. But I’m happy for her.

“Listen, me and Gina are in a really good place, we weren’t at one point. I’m happy for both of them.”
