Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) will head back to Las Vegas in 2026 as the network once again delivers live coverage of the NRL’s season‑opening double‑header from Allegiant Stadium.
This year’s NRL clashes feature the Newcastle Knights taking on North Queensland Cowboys, before the Canterbury Bulldogs and St George Illawarra Dragons go head to head.
SEN will be on site for both fixtures as the NRL continues its push into the US market.
Both matches will air live on Sunday 1 March, with broadcast coverage running from 12pm to 6pm AEDT. In Las Vegas, the call will go to air on Saturday evening from 5pm to 11pm.
Jimmy Smith, Chad Townsend and Tim Mannah will lead SEN’s commentary team. The broadcast can be heard across SEN, with SEN Stadium and SEN Sync also available for zero-latency listening both in-stadium and at home respectively.
SEN will also expand its presence in Vegas outside of match day with two special editions of Kick Off with Jimmy & Chad. Both the Friday 27 February and Monday 2 March will be broadcast live from Las Vegas, 6am to 9am AEDT.
SEN will deliver three broadcasts of The Front Office with Andrew Voss live from Las Vegas on Wednesday 25 February, Thursday 26 February, and Monday 2 March, all from 9am to 12pm AEDT.
SEN CEO Craig Hutchison said the network is thrilled to again play a role in showcasing the NRL’s international ambitions.
“Last year’s broadcast showed just how much appetite there is for rugby league on a global stage,” Hutchison said. “We’re proud to return to Las Vegas with an even bigger presence, a world‑class commentary team, and a commitment to giving fans back home the closest seat to the action.”
Back home, SEN is again teaming up with Clubs NSW to launch two outside broadcast watch parties across the state to bring the excitement of Vegas to listeners.
SEN will be on location at Canterbury Leagues Club (2-6pm AEDT on air), hosted by Brenton Speed and Justin Horo; and Wests Illawarra (2-6pm AEDT on air), hosted by Julian King and Brett Kimmorley.
Game one of the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership Season will kick off at 1.15pm AEDT on Sunday 1 March between the Knights and the Cowboys, followed by the clash between the Bulldogs and the Dragons at 3.30pm AEDT.
