More matches will be delivered in enhanced 4K for Kayo Premium subscribers with compatible devices.

Kayo SPORTS has taken the bright lights route to kick off its 2026 NRL season, launching its coverage from Las Vegas with a clear message to fans — every game, every round, live and ad-break free during play.

The season launch unfolded high above the Strip at the ARIA Sky Villas Penthouse, where some of the NRL’s biggest names gathered ahead of this weekend’s opening matches.

The broadcaster confirmed that Fox League on Kayo SPORTS will once again be the exclusive home of every game of every round live, without ad-breaks during play. Coverage in 2026 will also include more matches available in enhanced 4K, with compatible devices and a Kayo Premium subscription required.

Returning to anchor the coverage is the established Fox League commentary line-up, featuring familiar faces including Matty Johns, Yvonne Sampson, Braith Anasta, Cooper Cronk, Greg Alexander, Gorden Tallis, Kevin Walters and Michael Ennis.

Joining the panel this year are recently retired stars Kieran Foran, a premiership winner and Kiwi international, and three-time premiership player Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, who will step into media roles for the first time in the 2026 season.

Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany said the long-standing partnership between the broadcaster and the NRL continued to grow.

“Over more than two decades, we’ve built an incredibly successful partnership with the NRL, fuelled by a shared passion and a constant drive to innovate and grow the game.

“As the nation’s largest individual non-Government funder of sport, our annual investment of over $1 billion in broadcast rights and production flows directly into the heart of Australian sport and into Rugby League. Driving participation, supporting pathways, and sustaining the financial health of leagues and clubs.

“This commitment allows us to bring fans closer to the action and ensures the NRL remains a vibrant and thriving part of Australian culture, both here and on the global stage.”

Fox Sports Managing Director Steve Crawley said the energy surrounding the Vegas launch reflected growing audience numbers.

“You can feel the energy here in Vegas as we count down to the season opener.

“Last year was massive for us with record numbers tuning into Fox League, and we’re going even bigger in 2026.

“We have some big personalities joining the Fox League team this year, with Kieran Foran and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, on board to provide their fresh take on the game, and we couldn’t be happier to have Yvonne Sampson back in the chair.”

Beyond live match coverage, Fox League’s 2026 programming slate will again feature its regular weekly shows.
