Aussie superstar Oscar Piastri is set to swap vehicles in a top-secret Supercars session next week ahead of the Australian F1 Grand Prix.

According to news.com.au, Piastri will be given the chance to drive Supercars star Cameron Waters’ Ford Mustang at Melbourne’s Calder Park.
The session has been set up by Monster Energy, with Waters and Piastri sharing the energy drink as a sponsor.
News.com.au revealed that the session will be behind closed doors ahead of next weekend’s season opening Grand Prix. McLaren are reportedly keen to shield the Australian from the media spotlight after the event’s of last season.
Piastri’s Supercars foray is intriguing given he has said on the record that a potential appearance at the Bathurst 1000 appeals.
“I’d love to have a go, because they look like a bit of a beast of a car to try and tame,” Piastri said.
“All the F1 drivers want to go racing in Monaco, and all the V8 Supercar drivers want to go racing in Bathurst. It’s definitely the main one I’d want to drive at.”
