TROY, Ala. – Coming off a Sun Belt Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance, the Troy Men’s Basketball 2025-26 conference schedule has been released, the Sun Belt Conference announced Thursday. The Trojans will look to defend last season’s title, the program’s first since 2016-17.
Troy also captured the Sun Belt regular season title last year, finishing 13-5 in league play.
The Trojans will the conference slate with three consecutive games inside Trojan Arena, beginning with Marshall on Dec. 20. Following the Sun Belt holiday break, Troy will host Texas State on New Year’s Eve, followed by a matchup with in-state conference rival South Alabama on Jan. 3.
Troy then hits the road for a rematch of last season’s Sun Belt Championship game at Arkansas State on Jan. 7.
After a Jan. 10 contest at Louisiana, the Trojans return home to host Southern Miss (Jan. 14) and Arkansas State (Jan. 17).
A two-game road trip follows, with matchups against Old Dominion (Jan. 21) and Georgia Southern (Jan. 24).
The conference schedule continues with James Madison (Jan. 29) and Appalachian State (1/31) visiting Trojan Arena.
The Trojans will then begin the longest road stretch of the season with games at Georgia State (Feb. 4), Texas State (Feb. 11), Southern Miss (Feb. 14), ULM (Feb. 18), and South Alabama (Feb. 21).
The road swing will be briefly interrupted by a home game as part of the MAC-SBC Challenge on Feb. 7. Troy’s opponent will be announced at a later date.
The regular season concludes with home dates against Louisiana (Feb. 24) and ULM (Feb. 27).
The 2026 Sun Belt Basketball Championship will take place March 3–9 at the Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla., marking the sixth consecutive year the tournament has been held in Pensacola.
