Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius is currently among the basketball figures stranded in Dubai, along with several players from top European clubs, Meridian Sport reports.

Per Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Fenerbahce management is in constant contact with both Jasikevicius and the relevant authorities. Efforts are ongoing to bring Saras safely to Turkiye, and everything is under control. Jasikevicius is waiting in a secure location.

Airports in the United Arab Emirates, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, remain closed, and flights are not operating in the region’s airspace. This has left athletes and coaches unable to return to Europe on schedule.
