Joseph’s last shift in the game came less than three minutes into the final frame.

The 26-year-old Laval, Que., native has one goal and four assists in 23 games this season, his first with the Canucks after signing as a free agent in July.

He finished the night having recorded 10:36 of ice time over 14 shifts and was a minus-one.

“I think he was getting some X-rays while we were playing at the end there, so we’ll see what’s gone on with the upper body,” said Canucks head coach Adam Foote post-game.

The Canucks fell 6-1 to the Stars.
