Someone get Nicole Kidman and Jimmy Fallon a room, because the Aussie star’s latest interview on ‘The Tonight Show’ had fans in a frenzy.

Ten years after famously admitting she had a crush on the talk show host, Nicole returned to Jimmy’s program – and it appears not much has changed. Well, except she’s single now.

“I’m SO happy to be back,” Nicole, 58, declared as Jimmy introduced the star, there to promote her newly released streaming series Scarpetta.

“I want you back ALL the time. I want you to come back like once a month. I love having you on,” he giggled back.

And the giggles looked a little like this …

You get the drift.

It was a complete flirt fest as Nicole spoke about a recent trip she took to Antarctica with her two daughters Sunday and Faith – her seventh continent she has visited, she said proudly. Appearing interested in her recent adventure, the star then challenged Jimmy to name all seven continents, but of course he stumbled because … Nicole. In a chair in front of him. Glowing.

The conversation moved on to other topics such as her upcoming role in the Practical Magic sequel, a new-found love for cruises (ironic, given arguably her most famous ex), and the forensic knowledge she picked up filming the new crime drama Scarpetta.

Plenty of laughter and gazing ensued and fans were definitely taking notice.

The clip, shared on YouTube, quickly went viral with people all pointing out the same thing – these two still have chemistry!

“I feel like I’m interrupting a date or somethin,” one person commented.

“Wow! They do have a lot of chemistry together, it’s crazy!” another added.

Others referenced the fact that the two have had sexy banter for many years.

“Gawd damn still flirting these 2,” a fan wrote.

“The way he genuinely has chemistry with NO ONE that the fact that he does with Nicole is so highlighted,” another observed.

And another person joked: “The longest crush I have ever witnessed. We’re officially in the 3rd decade of this romance!”

The general vibe was that fans were all for this relationship to happen. Except there’s one glaring problem: Jimmy is happily married to wife Nancy Juvonen, with whom he shares two children.

“In an alternate universe,” someone sighed in the comments – emphasising their disappointment with a wilting rose.

When Nicole was a guest on Jimmy’s show in 2015, she famously admitted to once having a crush on the funnyman shortly after her split with Tom Cruise and before marrying recently divorced hubby, Keith Urban.

At the time, Nicole confessed to having her agent hook up a meeting so the two could get better acquainted, except it appeared as though Jimmy didn’t realise it was a date.

“You didn’t talk at all and so after about an hour and a half I thought, he has no interest, this is so embarrassing,” she remembered. “And I kind of left and went, okay no chemistry … and then I was like, maybe he’s gay?”

Fast forward to another visit on Jimmy’s show a year later and Nicole brought up the topic of a lost love again.

“We were at David Fincher’s house and it was when Brad and Jen were still together so it was a long time ago and you could have asked for my number then … and you still didn’t ask for it and you know that’s true,” she said.

“We were lurking in the kitchen after everyone went out and I’m like waiting and waiting and waiting.”

Her revenge was to bring out then husband Keith as a surprise – and perhaps a little taste of what Jimmy had missed out on.

Maybe next time they meet, Jimmy can bring out his wife?
