Luke Sayers allegedly tried to taint his wife’s reputation by telling the AFL that she suffered from bipolar as he sought to extract himself from a lewd photograph scandal, according to Victorian Supreme Court filings.
Cate Sayers made the claim in filings as part of defamation action against her estranged husband, the former chief executive of PwC Australia who had been a long-serving director at the Carlton Football Club. She alleges that Luke Sayers invaded her privacy, and lied to the AFL.
