
Trae Young scores 2 of his 12 points in Thursday’s debut for the Wizards following a deadline trade from the Hawks.
Trae Young looked ready to make his Wizards debut earlier in the week, and followed through Thursday. He racked up 12 points (4-9 FGs) and 6 assists in 19 minutes during the 122-112 loss to Utah.
The four-time All-Star played in 10 games for the Atlanta Hawks this season, averaging 19.3 points and 8.9 assists before being sidelined by knee and quadriceps injuries.
The Wizards acquired him for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert in January.
