Yet another high profile WWE fight? WWE star Logan Paul has issued a callout for NFL players – he wants to find one willing to fight him for the grand sum of $1 million, as per TMZ. But the difference is, this time, he doesn’t want a spectacle.
After his massive fights with high profile fighters, like Anthony Joshua and Floyd Mayweather, he wants to settle beef with his critics in a sparring match. Paul’s proclamation came from a spat with Tom Brady, who questioned Paul’s competitiveness against football players.
After the WWE star released the $1 million challenge on his “Impaulsive” podcast, NFL players have responded in droves. Former New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs took a shot at Logan Paul in an
” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram video, saying “A million dollars ain’t s***”, adding that even former footballers would be willing to “get in there” with him.
Former footballer Le’Veon Bell also shaded the WWE star in a short but sweet post on X, saying, “ima football player, that would beat the dog sh*t outta Logan ..”
Le’Veon Bell and Logan Paul Might Face Each Other in the Ring
After Bell shaded Logan Paul on X, things seemed to heat up. It looks like they may actually be fighting each other, according to the spat that followed on the platform.
Bell responded to Paul in a more lengthy post, writing “bro wants to spar! lol that’s fine bro, we can SPAR if that’s what you wanna do .. let’s PRACTICE”.
He then went on to say that the only way the $1m bet would work is if they ran rounds until one person quit. He finished, “no need to hide it from the public, they wanna see this”. This comes after Logan Paul argued that every NFL player he challenged wanted it to become a spectacle, similar to his previous fights.
Paul’s response? A direct offering. “10 oz gloves No headgear / 3 min rounds until someone quits”, he wrote. He then described the terms of the fight, “Next weekend / $1M bet (money in escrow) / No judges. You choose referee / Down for Boxing or MMA. Just lmk / Deal?”
Paul really must feel confident if he’s calling the shots like this. But, we have to wonder, does he have more bark than bite on this one?
