Sarah Ferguson’s alleged “obsessions” with celebrities are pretty relatable.
According to the Daily Mail’s excerpt of Andrew Lownie’s upcoming book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, Ferguson allegedly had “amorous” feelings toward Kevin Costner.
“After she plagued him with raunchy phone calls, he reputedly told friends, ‘She’s a woman crying out for love,’” Lownie alleges in the book, which is set to be released next week.
There is also a mention of Ferguson’s “other fancies,” including George Clooney. Lownie further claims that Ferguson, now 65, allegedly “flew 1,500 miles flight to meet” Tiger Woods.

“[She] then confided to broadcaster Piers Morgan: ‘I’m in love,’” per the book. “’Who’s the lucky guy?’ Morgan asked. ‘He doesn’t know yet,’ the Duchess replied. ‘It’s Tiger Woods! He’s so gorgeous. Do you think I stand a chance with him?’”
Morgan, 60, apparently “suggested Woods might not have much room in his schedule for dating royals.” Ferguson allegedly hit back with claims that she’s going to “follow [Woods] around the course.”
Ferguson also had a “schoolgirl crush” on John F. Kennedy Jr., the book alleges.
“On a trip to New York, Fergie asked her staff to find out if John Kennedy Jr. — handsome son of the assassinated JFK — was in town,” Lownie writes. “Discovering where he was, she invited him for drinks or dinner at her hotel, which he accepted.”
John Jr. was with Daryl Hannah at the time, and the actress, now 64, was allegedly “bothered” by how forward Ferguson was being. (John Jr. and Hannah were together for five years before they split in 1994.)
“Kennedy canceled, claiming a prior engagement,” the book alleges. “Staff were then ordered to spy on his apartment all night to check that he had told the truth.”
Prince Andrew Slept With ‘A Dozen Women’ During 1st Year of Sarah Ferguson Marriage, Book Claims
A “close confidant” who spoke to Lownie remembered Ferguson thinking things were “incredibly real” between her and John Jr.
“She spends hours talking about him,” the friend recalled to the author. “The fact that she’s never even met him doesn’t seem to matter at all.”
Ferguson allegedly “spent hours scouring magazines for articles about him, cutting out pictures of him in his swimming trunks and talking to her friends about whether he would like different aspects of her personality,” Lownie claims.
The book is also set to break down the ups and downs in Ferguson’s decade-long marriage to Prince Andrew. The former couple tied the knot in July 1986. Throughout their marriage, Ferguson and Andrew welcomed daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. They were divorced by May 1996 and still remain close.
