ANOTHER year, another crowd record for Melbourne’s Formula 1 bonanza.

A race day crowd of 137,869 brought the total four-day attendance at the 2026 Formula 1 Qatar Airways Australian Grand Prix to 483,934.

That eclipsed the venue record of 465,498 set last year, with the gains made in the first half of the event.

Thursday and Friday figures soared to all-time highs at the 2026 edition.

It brings Albert Park within reach of the magic 500,000 number achieved by the last AGP held in Adelaide in 1995, which drew an estimated 520,000-strong crowd across four days.
