Thousands of pounds worth of machinery has been stolen from a football club, police have said.
The burglary happened at Appledore Football Club in Devon, between 01:00 and 02:00 BST on 7 August, said officers.
Thieves broke into two sheds and took a white and yellow Cub Cadet ride-on mower, a strimmer, rotavator and a welding plant, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
Police appealed for people to check their CCTV or doorbell cameras for any suspicious activity or vehicles around the club when the break-in took place.
Police said: “We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered the mower or other items for sale.”
The club said on Facebook: “Any detail, no matter how small, could be important.
“This is a big setback for the club, and we’ll need the support of the community to recover from it.”
